Spring Events
Easter Eggstravaganza — Spring 2026 (Date TBD)
Every spring, DeSoto hosts its Easter Eggstravaganza at
Zeiger Park, inviting families and children to enjoy an afternoon filled
with egg hunts, games, activities, and plenty of community fun.
Daddy & Daughter Dance — Spring 2026 (Date TBD)
Make memories with your loved ones at this special
event held at the DeSoto Civic Center. Dads and daughters dress up,
dance, and enjoy an evening of music, food, and celebration.
Summer Events
Best Southwest Juneteenth Festival — June 2026 (Date
TBD)
A signature regional celebration hosted in part by
DeSoto, the Best Southwest Juneteenth Festival brings community members
together for an evening of heritage, culture, live entertainment, food, and
family-friendly activities that honor freedom and unity.
July 4th Fireworks Celebration — Summer 2026 (Date TBD)
DeSoto’s Independence Celebration features live music,
games, family activities, delicious food, and a grand fireworks show at Grimes
Park. It’s a summer highlight that draws residents outdoors for a night of
fun and community pride.

Best Southwest Hispanic Heritage Festival — Fall 2026

Celebrate Hispanic culture and community spirit at the
Best Southwest Hispanic Heritage Festival, featuring live music, cultural

Hometown Holiday Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting —

Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting celebration. This event includes festive
